“The distillery tour was wonderful!! Cawdor castle, wish we had more time there. It was crowded and slow going through the castle rooms. Did not get to see much of the garden. Urquhart Castle very pretty. We didn’t go in, walked along the road and got some nice pictures of the castle and Loch Ness.”

“We had a wonderful day, our guide Lisa was fabulous and the tour was excellent. The Giant’s Causeway didn’t disappoint despite rather miserable weather and Lisa adjusted the itinerary on the way back to take account of reduced visibility. The tour around Belfast was a bonus, didn’t expect to see and learn so much. A great day, many thanks!”

Cruise-friendly 7-hour Belfast shore trip to the Glens of Antrim, Giant's Causeway, Dunluce Castle, and Belfast city highlights.

“The tour and driver/guide was great, but we were delayed for about an hour, no fault of the driver.. We had to wait for 2 people for 15 min with no apology from them for delay of the bus. Next the poor driver had to look for 4 other people at another port and had difficultly locating the pick up spot, so we had that delay. Unfortunately we did not have much time to shop in the Belfast City Center. Over all the Causeway was amazing!”

From Aberdeen: Balmoral and Royal Deeside Shore Excursion

9.Balmoral and Royal Deeside Shore Excursion

★★★★★★★★★★4.7 · 12 reviews · 1 day · from $129

Visit the Falls of Feugh, explore royal Balmoral Castle, and spend time in Ballater on a comfortable 1-day Royal Deeside trip from Aberdeen.

“This trip required a $15 taxi ride from my hotel in Aberdeen to a dock south of town. This trip was apparently geared to cruise ship passengers. They had to be back by 4pm which reduced our trip by 2 hours. That wasn’t indicated when I signed up on line. Also, the website said to get an entrance ticket to Balmoral, which I did for $35. That was not necessary as this trip included the entry fee. All around a disappointing experience. Our guide Alan was great, very knowledgeable. Nancy J.”
